Two Shot During Drug Transaction Gone Bad in Milwaukee

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday at approximately 3:25 PM, in the 2500 block of West Wells Street. The victim was shot during a drug transaction in which he was robbed.

One of the suspects in the robbery/shooting was also shot during the incident. The victim, a 51-year-old male, sustained a serious injury; however, he is in stable condition. The suspect, who was shot, is a 17-year-old male; he sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

Both the victim and the injured suspect are being treated at local hospitals. The injured suspect and three other subjects were located in a nearby apartment building. All of the subjects were arrested.

This incident will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County D.A.'s office.
