Two Injured After Boating Accident Near McKinley Marina

MILWAUKEE - A boating accident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. last night on the break wall at the north gap just out from the McKinley Marina.

Two adult males from Milwaukee were operating their power boat at a high rate of speed when they collided with the break wall. 

Witnesses aboard a nearby boat immediately put their skiff into the water and were able to rescue the two victims and bring them into the marina where they were treated by Milwaukee Fire Rescue personnel.

The victims are still being treated for non-life threatening injuries and are under investigation for operating while intoxicated. The boat remains on top of the break wall.
