Traffic Alert: Northbound lanes on I-43 at WIS 83 closed due to vehicle fire

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- All northbound lanes on I-43 at WIS 83 are closed due to a vehicle fire.

The DOT estimates that cleanup will take two hours.

The DOT has the following alternate route in place, Northbound traffic will exit I-43 at WIS 83. Take WIS 83 to Holtz Parkway. Head east on Holtz Parkway to CTH ES (National Avenue). National Avenue north to WIS 164. WIS 164 back to I-43.
