Traffic Alert: I-794 Ramp Closure Begins Monday

Drivers who regularly use the I-794 entrance ramp near Lincoln Memorial Drive will need to use an alternate route this week.

The I-794 westbound entrance ramp at Lincoln Memorial Drive will be closed for about a week beginning Nov. 18. Drivers should take Clybourn Street to the Jackson Street westbound entrance ramp.

Starting Nov. 20, Jackson Street from Clybourn Street to St. Paul Avenue below I-794 will be closed as crews build a temporary ramp connection. The entrance and exit ramps will be available to I-794 and construction is expected to last one week. Drivers can use the southbound Jackson Street exit ramp into the Historic Third Ward, or take Milwaukee Street to St. Paul Avenue as a street alternative.
