MILWAUKEE—A Milwaukee woman is recovering after being shot when a bullet entered her home.

Police responded to a report of a shooting around 11:55 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of South 7th Street in the Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood.

Officers found a resident who had been struck by a bullet that had been fired outside of the residence.

The woman was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
