Winter Weather Advisory for the morning commute

MILWAUKEE --- There is a winter weather advisory in place beginning Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. and continuing until 9:00 a.m. Monday. Those traveling in the hours of the advisory should exercise caustion and make sure to drive according to the conditions.

The advisory affects Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Walworth, Dodge, Racine and Kenosha counties.

The snow should start falling around 10:00 p.m. and will taper off into the morning hours. We can expect between 2 and 4 inches, with the highest totals in Walworth County.

DPW has 90 salt trucks ready to head out onto the road to clear away the snowfall. So far, there haven't been any reports of any major accidents.
