Waukesha murder suspect commits suicide in Bloomington, IN

BLOOMINGTON, IN -- 26-year-old Eddie Callaway, the man suspected of killing his girlfriend Nani Negron in Waukesha, shot and killed himself when confronted by Bloomington police in Bloomington, IN. Police say the suicide took place at 10:30 p.m. on April 30th.

Callaway was spotted by an Indiana State Police detective who flagged down a Bloomington Police Department officer. Police started a search for Callaway, and found him riding a blue bicycle on a bike trail.

Police had Callaway on the ground at gunpoint, but he reached for a weapon. Police say he then shot himself in the head, and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
