BAY VIEW -- Big changes are coming to a Milwaukee high school.

MPS hopes a new plan will transform Bay View High School.

It has been plagued by fights and other problems recently.

The new plan will strengthen Bay View's science, technology, engineering and math programs.

It will also phase out the middle schools and reduce the size of the ninth grade class.

The changes come from the "Believe in Bay View" movement which asked the public for ideas on how to improve the school.
