Ryan holds campaign event in De Pere

DE PERE -- Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan headed back to his home state Wednesday for a campaign event near Green Bay.

He spoke in a town style format at the Cornerstone Community Ice Center in De Pere Wednesday morning.

After his campaign event in Wisconsin, Ryan will attend a rally at the Clermont County Fairgrounds in Owensville, Ohio.

Some anti-Ryan protesters did show up at the congressman's Wisconsin rally.

Ryan's political opponent, Vice President Joe Biden, will make a stop in Wisconsin Thursday to speak to students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
