CBS 58 News Exclusive: Plane struck by truck
MILWAUKEE -- There was a collision on the tarmac Tuesday night at Mitchell International Airport and it's not the first time.
A catering truck hit the wing of a plane parked at gate C23 around 7:45. A picture obtained by CBS 58 News shows damage to the wing of an AirTran plane. No one was on board at the time and no one was hurt. According to the airport's website, the plane arrived from Baltimore. The next departing flight from the gate was scheduled to leave for New York-LaGuardia Wednesday morning. A catering truck also hit a plane's fuselage of another AirTran plane at Mitchell International Airport about a week ago. CBS 58 News contacted AirTran Tuesday night, but has yet to hear from the airline about the incidents. |
