Jason Peck, 35, of Milwaukee come forward with his $1 million winning ticket from Saturday's record $590.5 million Powerball jackpot drawing. The construction worker proposed to his girlfriend of six years during a press conference about his prize. After taxes he will receive a lump sum payment of $672,500.

The couple says the money comes at a good time because they recently fell on hard times and care for Peck's paraplegic father who moved in with them a few years ago.
The ticket was sold Saturday night at Pick 'N Save located at 1100 E. Garfield in Milwaukee.
