MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office has apprehended escaped convict Keyon Westlan. He escaped the custody of a corrections officer while at a medical visit.

Westlan, a man in jail for drug charges, was uncuffed so he could use the bathroom when he assaulted a corrections officer and fled. Westlan led the corrections officer on a foot chase, and was last seen in a nearby building.

We're told Westlan was found hiding in the space between the walls. He got there by crawling above ceiling tiles from the bathroom.
