Froedtert Hospital lockdown lifted
WAUWATOSA -- Radcliffe Haughton opened fire at 11:00 a.m. in Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield.
Froedtert Hospital was made aware of the situation and prepared for patients to arrive. At about noon, four individuals were transferred to Froedtert. All four were females with gun shot wounds to their extremities. They were all transported to the hospital by amublances. The first patient is in surgery and is in critical condition. The second patient has completed a surgical procedure and is in satisfactory condition. The third patient is being stabilized and will undergo surgery later tonight. The fourth patient has been admitted with injuries that do not require surgery. Froedtert initially reported three additional victims would be transported, however none arrived at the hospital. At approximately 1:00 p.m. the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department advised that Froedtert Hospital go on lockdown as a precautionary measure. At 4:25 p.m. following a sweep of the hospital by sheriff staff, the lockdown was lifted. |
