MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- The pair of teens charges with setting a fire and damaging a south side grocery store are due in court Tuesday.

Prosecutors charged Alexander Karsten, 17 and Miguel Rubio, 18 with arson.

Police say the teens admit to being outside the El Rey grocery store near 50th and Oklahoma on January 2, but they claim the fire was an accident.

It caused thousands of dollars in damage and shut down the store for more than a week.

Both teens have been charged as adults.
