RACINE COUNTY—A car crashes into a pole in Racine County.

Authorities said that a 19-year-old male from Raymond crashed into a pole shortly before 4:00 a.m. Sunday near County Highway G and 43rs St in Raymond.

He was the only occupant in the car.

He did not appear to be injured, but was taken to the hospital due to the circumstances of the crash.

The Racine county Sheriff’s Office said that the accident is still under investigation, but speed and alcohol appear to be factors.

The pole belonged to WE Energies.

A power line came down in the crash that blocked access to County highway G and 43rd St just north of there.

The area was blocked off for several hours while repairs were being made.
