MILWAUKEE -- Eduardo Ibañez, the man convicted of brutally stabbing a 15-year-old girl to death, has been sentenced to life in prison.

Police found Stephanie Romero's body on April 13, 2012 in an abandoned home on 25th Street and Rogers. Ibañez stabbed and strangled Romero after she performed sexual acts on him. Two days after the killing, police say Ibañez and a friend went back into the home to hide the body in a crawl space.

Ibañez will be eligible for extended supervision in 2065.
