14-year-old girl injured in Milwaukee shooting

MILWAUKEE-- A 14-year-old girl is recovering after being shot in Milwaukee.

It happened near 37th St and North Ave around 10:15 p.m. Friday night.

Police said that the girl was walking down the street when she was grazed by a bullet.

While police were on the scene several shots were fired about a block away.

Police responded and were able to recover evidence that led to an arrest.

The 14-year-old was taken to a local hospital, but her injury was said to be minor.
