Three Separate Shootings Over Night

It was a violent night in Milwaukee as Police were called to three separate shootings.

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of N 32nd and W Wells Streets around 1 AM today.  The victim, a 25-year-old man, received a single gunshot wound to the leg.  He was able to take himself to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening wound.  According to Police, the shooting occurred as the result of an altercation between a group of individuals.  There are no suspects at this time, but the Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 40-year-old Milwaukee woman that occurred around 3:30 AM in the area of N Sherman Boulevard and W Villard Avenue.  According to the Police, the woman was transported by the Milwaukee Fire Department to a local hospital for treatment of a very serious gunshot wounds.  A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with this shooting.   

The Milwaukee Police are investigating a third shooting that occurred around 3:15 AM Thursday.  According to the Police, the victim was shot during a robbery in the area of S 25th Street and W Greenfield Avenue.    The victim, a 29-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.  The victim is expected to survive.   The MPD continues to seek suspects in this case.
