Three people displaced following house fire in Watertown

WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Three people were displaced following a house fire in Watertown.

The fire started shortly before 1 a.m. inside a home in the 900 block of Larabee Street.

An occupant was woken up by the sound of fire and everyone inside at the time was able to get out safely.

The first arriving crews reported fire coming from the second story of the home. The fire was quickly upgraded to a box alarm and crews from Ixonia, Lake Mills, Johnson Creek, Waterloo, and Clyman were brought in. 

There were no injuries reported but the fire did cause roughly $60,000 in damages to the home.

The Red Cross is assisting the family. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
