Temperature Tumble of Major Proportion

Say goodbye to our mild weather soon.  As soon as this evening, temperatures will be below freezing, and they probably won't recover for a week.  An Arctic front has passed us by and now we're waiting on the plunge.  Highs the next few days will generally range between 10 and 15 degrees.  Of course any wind will make it feel like -10 to -20.

West winds will be whipping, especially into tomorrow.  Gusts near 35 mph will bring down the "real feel" numbers quickly.  Please limit our time outside, including the kids at the bus stop.

The National Weather Service says we'll see higher wind and waves and could even get frozen spray with these conditions.

I'm not looking for any major storm system to work through the region at least through the weekend. But still, this is a great time to download the free CBS58 weather app to keep on top of what's happening weatherwise.  You can get the 10-day trend when you're away from your home or computer.
