OAK CREEK- What started as a welfare check, turned into a drug bust in an Oak Creek Neighborhood, over the weekend. According to police reports, officers responded to a neighbor's concern about a homeowner on Hope Lane who he had not seen in a while. Police officers went inside to check on the homeowner and they reported finding 87 marijuana plants and equipment to grow pot.

Saul Vasquez is the homeowner's son, who lives in the house. He is charged with manufacturing THC in connection to the bust. Vasquez told police his father owns the home but passed away prior to the incident.
