FOX POINT-Some lucky cyclists walked away with free helmets when they stopped at Wheel and Sprocket Thursday night.

Adults helmets were also available at a huge discount.

Everyone was fitted properly with the helmet as part of a program sponsored by Safe Kids SE Wisconsin and Children's Hospital.

It's all in preparation for Sunday's annual UPAF Ride for the Arts.

"We want to make sure the head is protected," explained  Lisa Klindt Simpson of Safe Kids. "A helmet can protect against head injury by 80 to 85 percent."
