Suspects arrested after stealing $33,000 worth of merchandise from Kenosha cell phone store

Three suspects are under arrest following a cell phone store robbery at McTernan Wireless in Kenosha.

The incident took place around 2:25 a.m. on Monday morning.

A supervisor from the Kenosha Police Department heard an alarm coming from the wireless store located at 2601 S. 75th Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a glass door had been smashed. The suspects stole numerous cell phones and tablets worth approximately $33,000. They left in a silver vehicle before officers arrived.

The Kenosha Police Department then received an alarm call from the AT&T store at 6430 Green Bay Road. The investigation found that the same 3 suspects attempted to smash the glass door but were unable to gain entry and left.

Officers with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department located the suspect vehicle near I-94 and 75th Street. The suspects were taken into custody and the stolen property was recovered.

Investigators are following up to determine if the suspects are connected to any other similar burglaries in the area.
