ELM GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The man who police say sped off from officers in Elm Grove during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning and later crashed is now in custody.
Elm Grove Police say 39-year-old Trevor Thompson Jr. turned himself into police Wednesday morning.
Officers stopped his car early Tuesday morning, but police say he took off, speeding through parking lots before crashing into another car before running away from the scene.
Police say drugs and ammunition were found in the car.
He appeared in Waukesha County court. He was charged with attempting to flee or elude a traffic officer, possession with intent to deliver THC and obstructing an officer. His bail was set at $10,000. Thompson will be back in court on Monday, December 4th.
