MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Picasso print stolen from a Milwaukee art appraiser back in February is now registered with a database of stolen art in London and New York.
The artwork is valued at $35,000-$50,000.
“This guarantees that it is gonna shown all over the world and anytime it would turn up anywhere, anytime that there is any notification to any police department or FBI anywhere, it’ll be kinda reported back,” said Bill DeLind with DeLind Fine Art Appraisals.
There is a $5,000 reward for the return of the Picasso print. Appraisers say they’re considering increasing that reward.
