Still Lots of Forecasting to Do with Midweek Storm

The CBS58 Ready Weather team has our work cut out for us the next 48 hours as we deal with another area of low pressure moving in from the Mid-Missouri Valley.  Some weather computer models hint at all rain while others indicate all snow, especially as we get into Wednesday afternoon and lasting through Thursday morning.  The graphic below shows the wide range of accumulation amounts we could get. It also looks like winds will be an issue into Wednesday night with gusts around 40 mph.

Whatever wintry precipitation we get the next few days won't last very long.  We're expecting highs in the 50s and 60s for the upcoming weekend.  The weather should be dry before another storm system impacts us by early next week.

This is the perfect time of year to download the free CBS58 weather app to keep track of all the changes, and there are many coming the next few days.  It's also good to have as we get closer to severe weather season.
