State lawmakers consider bill removing e-cigarettes from smoking ban

MADISON -- A new bill being considered by state lawmakers would allow e-cigarettes to be used indoors. E-cigarettes are marketed as alternatives to cigarettes for people who are trying to quit.

Republican State Senator Glenn Grothman's bill would remove electronic cigarettes from Wisconsin's smoking ban passed in 2009.

The bill is now with the Senate Judiciary Committee.
