St. Francis Police: Man arrested after for OWI after leaving police department parking lot

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man is arrested for OWI after St. Francis Police say he ignored their advice and drove drunk. 

Police say an officer saw the 26-year-old St. Francis man leave from the police department parking lot around 5:07 a.m. on Sunday, November 4. The man had previously been told to keep his vehicle parked and walk home due to having a few drinks. 

The officer pulled the man over and say he failed Standardized Field Sobriety test. According to police, the driver's breath sample was twice the legal limit. 

The man cited for traffic offenses and released later in the day.
