South Milwaukee man arrested for 4th OWI

A South Milwaukee man has been arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence (OWI), 4th offense early Saturday morning in Washington County.

Damien E. Gomez, 35, was stopped by a Wisconsin State Trooper on I-41 southbound near County Line Road in Washington County shortly before 5 a.m. According to the report, the vehicle smelled of intoxicants.

After field sobriety tests were performed on Gomez, he was arrested for OWI 4th offense. The driver was turned over to the Washington County Jail and is being charged with felony OWI 4th Offense.
