GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) – Six people are displaced and one hurt after a fire broke out in a Glendale apartment building early Tuesday morning.
According to North Shore Fire/Rescue, the fire started around 2 a.m. near W. Chateau Pl. and N. Mohawk Ave.
When authorities got to the scene, they found smoke and fire coming from a first floor apartment. Everyone inside the building was safely evacuated. One person sustained minor burns and was hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
Crews determined the fire started in the living room of the apartment but the cause remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $50,000.
