Shots fired on I-43 near Hampton and Silver Spring Drive

Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department is investigating shots fired into a vehicle on I-43 northbound the afternoon of July 23. 

The vehicle was on I-43 northbound between Hampton Avenue and Silver Spring Drive. The vehicle did have a bullet hole in the left tail light, but no injuries were reported.

The victim said he was approaching Hampton Avenue when he saw a late model SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe, coming up on him at a high rate of speed. Cars in the adjacent lane prevented him from moving over immediately, and he slowed to attempt to change lanes.  He heard a gunshot and exited at Silver Spring Drive.  

The victim described the driver of the SUV as a black male, in his 30s or 40s.
