September-like Temperatures to Start Your Week
Check your calendars! It is going to feel like late summer outside today underneath an upper-level trough and low pressure system. Cool, Canadian air will funnel in today with highs struggling to get out of the 60s for much of southeastern Wisconsin. Is it typical to have a 60 degree day in late June? Believe it or not, it is completely normal. June 28th of last year, the high only reached 66 degrees. Two years ago today, the high only reached 65 degrees! Three years ago yesterday the high was only 61 degrees! So it does happen!
The weather conditions will go back to normal by the middle of this week just in time for Summerfest. Highs get closer to 80 degrees. However, the pattern switches with unsettled weather by Wednesday. Some stronger storms could be possible. Heads up if you plan on going out on Wednesday for the festivities!
