Senator Johnson visits Puerto Rico to view storm damage

PUERTO RICO (CBS 58) — Sen. Ron Johnson visited Puerto Rico Saturday with a congressional delegation to assess damage and relief efforts underway on the island in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has jurisdiction over the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which is aiding the recovery effort.

Sen. Johnson will join CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday morning to discuss the trip.
