Salvation Army raises $141,669 with help from Packers, Rodgers

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Salvation Army raised $141,669 during the holiday season in Green Bay, thanks to the support of Packers players, fans and employees.

Part of the money was raised through several different efforts including bell ringing and autograph signing during Packers Give Back Day on December 18.

The team and quarterback Aaron Rodgers matched the donations raised. 

All proceeds will go toward the Salvation Army’s efforts in helping needy families, seniors and the homeless in the Green Bay area.
