Rodgers limited Wednesday with right shoulder injury

Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited in Wednesday's Packers practice with a right shoulder injury.

Rodgers and the other Packers players spoke to the media before practice, but Mike McCarthy admitted in his availability Wednesday that Rodgers is "banged up". After Sunday's loss to the Lions, McCarthy emphatically stated that Rodgers has been getting hit "way too much" as the offensive line's protection has broken down.

Rodgers threw for just 77 yards in the Packers loss in Denver, and has posted a sub-100 quarterback rating in five of his last six games. The Packers next practice is scheduled for late Thursday morning in Green Bay.
