Robbery suspect taken into custody near 39th and North

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A robbery suspect was taken into custody after several hours of negotiations with Milwaukee Police Sunday morning.

Authorities say the suspect was located inside a home near 39th and North around 6:30 a.m. The suspect would not surrender so crisis negotiators were called to the scene. After several hours, the suspect stopped communicating. Police say then members of the Tactical Enforcement Unit found the suspect in the home and took him into custody.

He was not hurt.
