Report: Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers to be cleared by NFL

After meeting with NFL officials Wednesday in Green Bay, ESPN.com reporting that Packers linebackers Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews will be cleared of any wrongdoing by the league.

Peppers and Matthews reportedly met with the league about reports from Al Al-Jazeera in December 2015 that they used performance-enhancing drugs. That report has since been recanted and both players have publicly denied it.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison will also reportedly been cleared after his interview today in Pittsburgh.

No official word has come from the Packers or the NFL about the meetings or any clearance.
