Rain, Storms will be on the weekend agenda

This won't be the prettiest weekend, weatherwise. We'll be dealing with a storm system hovering over the area.  We'll see waves of rain and storms, Friday evening right through Saturday night into early Sunday.  1-2"+ amounts will be possible.  This means we could see some localized flooding so make sure to clear any storm drains.

There is a "marginal" risk of severe weather, especially along and south of I-94.  The biggest threat will be the heavy rain.  Frequent lightning is also possible.

The forecast does get better on Sunday as we cool off and dry off.  Highs will only be in the 50s.  Of course this is fairly seasonable for this time of the year.  Overnight lows into Monday morning will be in the 30s in outlying areas, and this is where we could see some patchy frost.

But don't worry, after the cool down coming, temperatures rebound nicely into the 70s by the middle of next week.
