There will also be holiday photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus for a small additional fee.

The zoo will also be collecting letters for Santa so he can take them back to the North Pole.

At the end of the day around 5:00 p.m. the annual Kiwanis Holiday Lighting event will happen. The Racine Zoo has been the location of the Kiwanis Holiday Lights Foundation for many years, and will be back once again.

The lighted waterfall consists of seven sections and when pieced together, becomes a magnificent 22-foot by 28-foot display. The movement of the waterfall is created with 3,000 feet of rope lights, totaling 33,000 individual LED bulbs. There will also be a steamboat, animals, trees, toys and of course Santa and his sleigh.
