Racine Symphony Orchestra searching for applicants for 2018 Racine Talent Show

RACINE Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Symphony has announced their 2018 Racine Talent Showcase. Vocalists, dancers and instrumentalists of all ages and genres will be selected to perform at our Friday, August 24 Lakeside Pops Concert at 7:00 pm at Festival Hall in Racine.

Interested parties are invited to apply by sending a video recording, or link to a video posted on YouTube, to [email protected]. Selections can be 3 -10 minutes in length and must include the performance in its entirety. The performance must be appropriate for accompaniment by the Racine Symphony Orchestra. The Racine Symphony will assume responsibility for arrangements.

Submission deadline is March 1, 2018. Applicants must be available for rehearsals on August 21 and 23 from 7:30 – 10:00 pm and the for Concert on Friday, August 24 at 7:00 pm. Performers will be selected by the Racine Symphony Orchestra's Artistic Director and Conductor, Pasquale Laurino. All applicants will be notified by April 3.
