Racine County man accused of stabbing his mother

ROCHESTER, WI (CBS 58) --  A Village of Raymond man is accused of stabbing is mother during an altercation Saturday night.   According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, Edward Louis Esposito was taken into custody around 6:20 PM Saturday and is being held on multiple charges of Attempted Homicide, Battery-Domestic Violence and 1st Degree Reckless Endangering Safety.

According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a house on Stephanie Street in the Village of Raymond for the  report of an intoxicated adult male attacking a woman with a machete and a "butterfly knife."   The report goes on to say that during the altercation the woman was stabbed in the leg.   The suspect then left the house and was taken into custody without incident while he was sitting in the back yard.   

Esposito is being held in the Racine County Jail.
