Pregnant Woman killed near 30th and Auer

UPDATE MARCH 7: The victim in the March 6 homicide in the 3200 block of N. 30th Street is identified as Tamecca A. Perry. She was pregnant at the time of her death and the child did not survive.  MPD is currently seeking a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman for the crime.  

ORIGINAL: Milwaukee Police after investigating after a woman was killed overnight.

It happened shortly before 3:00 AM Sunday near 30th and Auer.

Police said that the 23-year-old woman was shot by a 24-year-old female who came to the victim's residence to settle an argument.

The victim died on the scene despite life saving efforts from police and firefighters.

Police are searching for the known suspect.
