Port Washington man, 62, killed after losing control of motorcycle, hitting embankment

MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fatal motorcycle accident is currently under investigation in the City of Mequon.
Officers were called to a one-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on northbound I-43, approximately .5 mile north of Highland Road.
It happened around 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
Several witnesses say they saw a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling on the shoulder of the roadway northbound on I-43. Witnesses say the motorcyclist then lost control and hit an embankment.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as 62-year-old Michael Fosco of Port Washington.
The accident remains under investigation.
