MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Common Council announces its unanimous opposition to the proposed Kenosha casino. In a statement the common council called on Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker to reject the proposed casino.

Milwaukee Alderman Willie Hines Jr. says Milwaukee could lose as many as 3,000 jobs should the new Kenosha casino be built.

In the past, Governor Walker said he wanted the state's tribal nations to come to a consensus before signing off on the proposed casino.
