Police searching for suspects after man shot near Carmen and Appleton

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a non-fatal shooting.
It happened around 8:40 a.m. on Friday in the 10000 block of West Appleton Avenue.
According to police, a 31-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital.
The victim's statements have been inconsistent, police say.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Police are searching for a suspect and a motive.
