Police release surveillance video in Racine tavern robbery/homicide

RACINE -- Racine police are investigating the armed robbery of the American Legion at 1234 Douglas Ave. that led to the shooting of 47-year-old Joseph Walker. 


Police say two men entered the tavern at 1:30 a.m. on May 31, 2014, to rob the establishment. During the robbery Walker, a bar patron, was shot and killed. Both suspects fled the scene of the robbery.


The suspects are described as black males, aged 20-30.
