Pick 'n Save closing only grocery store in Cudahy

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Pick 'n Save in Cudahy informed its 75 employees Tuesday that the store would be closing. Roundy's, who owns Pick 'n Save, said that the store did not "meet business goals and objectives."

The statement further reads:

"It’s always a difficult decision to close a store; however, closing underperforming stores ensures we have a strong network of stores. We are making significant capital investments throughout our Wisconsin store network for the benefit of our customers."

All 75 employees will be offered jobs at other Pick 'n Save stores in the area.

Closing the store means that there is no grocery store in Cudahy.

Pick 'n Save suggests customers shop at their other stores in St. Francis, South Milwaukee and Oak Creek.

An exact date for the closure has not been given.
