Passenger in stolen vehicle dies after crash in Milwaukee

A 25-year-old woman is dead this morning following the crash of a stolen vehicle in which she was a passenger.   According to the Milwaukee Police, two 24-year-old male suspects were arrested following the accident.  The MPD believes the suspects are responsible for a carjacking that happened around 11:35 PM Saturday at S 20th and W Mineral Streets.   Around 2:15 AM Sunday, Police officers located the stolen Ford Focus in the area of N 27th and W Locust Streets, but the driver and passengers fled from the officers.  According to the Police, the suspects crashed the car into a light pole at N 33rd and W Locust Streets.   The MPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
