Packers make roster moves

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced several moves to their roster Monday.

The Packers signed RB Akeem Judd, placed linebackers Jake Ryan and C.J. Johnson on injured reserve, and released G Ethan Cooper.

Starter Ryan tore his ACL early in training camp and his linebacker counterpart, Johnson is dealing with a hamstring injury.

New signee Judd (5-11, 225) is a second-year player who was originally signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Mississippi on May 15, 2017. The former Ole Miss standout spent time with both the Titans and the New York Jets before being released into free agency. Judd will wear No. 36 for the Packers.
