One Cool Day But Not for Long

Today is a one day sabbatical from all the heat and humidity.  In fact, highs only in the 60s to low 70s are expected.  A few passing showers are possible too. Saturday looks nice and then Sunday turns stormy, especially later in the morning and then again later in the day. We're all under a slight risk for severe weather.

A cold front moves through into early Monday, bringing most of the rain/storm chances to an end.  We cool off for a bit followed by a huge surge in temperatures and humidity by the end of the week.  With the heat and humidity, it could feel like 100 by next weekend.  Stay tuned.

In the meantime, make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app when you're on the go, especially with the storms coming on Sunday.  You can get weather alerts and follow the storms on the radar.
